Hôtel des Horlogers is an avant-garde boutique design hotel located in Le Brassus, Switzerland, widely recognized as the birthplace of Swiss luxury watchmaking. Owned by luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet, the property sits in the scenic Vallée de Joux and serves as a celebration of horology heritage, sustainable luxury, and groundbreaking architecture.
Zigzag Structure: Designed by the world-renowned Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), the building features five slightly tilted, zigzagging concrete slabs that follow the valley's natural topography.
Continuous Path: The roof's unique exterior layout creates a continuous path down toward the meadows, visually blending the hotel into the landscape.
Interior Styling: Curated by AU*M Pierre Minassian, the inside mimics the local environment, blending raw concrete with warm local wood, root-inspired ceiling installments, and stones.
Forest Views: The property features 50 light-filled rooms and suites, all purposefully angled to face the immense, historic Risoud Forest.
