About This Stay
Posada Amazonas is a award-winning, rustic-chic eco-lodge located within a 9,500-hectare private communal reserve in the Peruvian Amazon. Situated on the banks of the Tambopata River, it is uniquely owned by the Indigenous Ese Eja Native Community of Infierno and operated in a highly successful partnership with Rainforest Expeditions. This collaborative community model ensures that 75% of the lodge’s profits go directly back to local indigenous families.
